Greetings! hope you all are getting prepared for the Amarillo and Los Lunas shows! They are NAMHSA approved and appear on the website now. They will be WCMHSA approved as well.
Lovely awards have been provided from "Down n Dirty" restaurant and "Crepe Crepe" restaurant for the Los Lunas shows. MMMMMmmmmmm.... you don't even know!

I am certainly enjoying all the fabulous photos from NATIONALS on Facebook! Thank you to everyone who is posting them! I can learn and live a little vicariously through your pictures!
GREAT NEWS! I have the show premiums for the September 24 show in Amarillo and the October 22 show in Los Lunas ready! Please look them over and make plans to come out! I'd love to meet all the new folks that have shown interest and reunite with the ones that I've gotten to know from the May show! These should be posted on the NAMHSA site tomorrow or Monday!
THERE IS A SPECIAL JACKPOT SECTION OFFERED AT EACH SHOW FOR COLOR! THIS WILL HAVE A SEPERATE JUDGE AND THEIR WILL BE PAYBACK! (No NAN cards for the jackpot) CHECK IT OUT!

What a fun time we all had at the show!!! Here’s a HUGE “Thank You” to everyone that made our first show a fabulous experience! Congratulations to all the exhibitors and winners! Muchas Gracias! Herkem! A’hye’he! to the judges; a heartfelt thanks for your work and enthusiasm that you brought to the task! I’m still reeling from how terrific this show was! Thank you, Amadore, my kind husband, for ‘guarding’ the treasures so well and honcho-ing the raffle ticket sales.
Speaking of raffle.., Oh My Gosh! That was an impressive offering! Thanks, everyone! I hope you all got the goodies you were hoping for!
Results are being finalized as I post and I will have them listed here for all to inspect as soon as possible.
Please take a few minutes to take the new survey so that I can epitomize your experience in the future. My goal is to improve, improve, improve!
GREAT NEWS! I have been approved to have the same venue on October 22, 2016! Be ready to return! My idea is to include a ‘scavenger hunt’ in local businesses that offer models for sale prior to the day of the show. There will be a great prize and you can enjoy more of our horse community. I plan to incentivize repeat participants to bring an additional participant to help grow our show. Stay tuned for details. In process currently; I’m inviting actual horse show judges to evaluate our performance classes! I’m hoping to increase our numbers through word-of-mouth from these experts (you know they all have plastic ponies in addition to their real ones!).
ADDITIONALLY, interest has been expressed for a show in the Amarillo, Texas, area for September 24, 2016. I’m hoping to arrange a visit to the AQHA for participants!

Greetings collectible horse enthusiasts! Welcome to the Camino Real Model Horse Show website! The first show is slated for April 23, 2016, in Los Lunas, New Mexico. I hope to make this a memorable and enjoyable experience. My name is Katy Lente. Feel free to contact me at tiwaspeak@aol.com
